Ujala Credit Co-operative Society wins two prestigious awards at Banking Frontiers Awards 2018


Mr. Yogendra Pal, Country Head, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society Limited was bestowed upon with “Training To The Social Sector About Co-operatives award” while Mr. Vijay Pal, Vertical Head Of Joint Liability Group Of Ujala was honoured with “Innovation in Product award” at this esteemed awards ceremony. 
Recently on November 2 in Jaipur, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society organised “Deepawali Sneh Milan” in which more than 100 advisors of Ujala participated. The brainstorming meet was presided over by Mr. Ved Prakash, Sharma, CEO, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society Limited who highlighted the achievements of Ujala in the last financial year before kick-starting the event.

Working in line with their vision of spreading financial light in every household, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society has achieved a series of milestones along its way and in recognition of its commendable efforts Ujala has won two major awards recently at just concluded “Banking Frontiers Awards 2018”. In this prestigious awards ceremony, Mr. Yogendra Pal, Country Head, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society Limited was bestowed upon with “Training To The Social Sector About Co-operatives” award while Mr. Vijay Pal, Vertical Head Of Joint Liability Group Of Ujala was honoured with “Innovation In Product” award. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Yogendra Pal, Country Head, Ujala Credit Co-operative Society Limited said, “These awards have turned out to be a great morale booster for us and have encouraged us to continue our work with more positivity and enthusiasm. We endeavour to inspire and motivate the economically weaker section of the society for self-employment -- to fulfil our objective of spreading financial light in their lives.”

The meeting was called upon to take stock of the progress made by Ujala. In this brainstorming meet various schemes of Ujala were discussed among Team Ujala. Simultaneously, suggestions were invited from the entire team on making the services of Ujala even better. While presenting their views in this incredible Ujala Sneh Milan, the dignitaries encouraged the Team Ujala to face all the challenges with high morale and positivity of Ujala. The objective of setting up of Ujala is to cultivate saving habits and provide financial support (loans) to the people belonging to lower economical strata of the society and encourage their businesses and entrepreneurial ventures and improve quality and status of their lives. In a nutshell, Ujala aims to encourage the habit of 
saving among its members in every household and provide them loans for their economic prosperity and entrepreneurship.
