Baltra to tap personal care segment in a big way
Leading home
appliance brand, “Baltra” is now all set to diversify into personal care
products category with its plans to roll out a wide range of grooming products
for both men and women. The company aims to capture a sizeable pie of Rs 1500
crore personal grooming market which has recently witnessed the emergence of
some other home appliance manufacturers such as Syska. Baltra plans to launch a wide range of products in this
category like hair dryers, curlers, trimmers, shavers, besides pedicure and
manicure products both for males and females. Widely acknowledged for its
unique range of energy-saving product line, Baltra is currently in the process
of ramping up its production facilities to accommodate the requirements of the
new segment. Exclusively to tap the high demand in personal care segment,
Baltra is coming up with a new factory in Haryana.

He added that the company has already set up moulding
machines to maintain seamless production of the new product range. He said, “Make
in India is being truly instrumental in driving the growth of Indian industries
and Baltra is committed to making technological investments to reduce the
dependency on imports” When asked about the impact of GST on the growth of
Baltra, he said, “GST has successfully converted India into one market
which has helped us register commendable 20-25% y-o-y growth last year. In the
current financial year we are expecting 40% growth and look forward to achieve
over 125 crore turnover.”
Baltra
has already setup its service centres all across the country and its Research
and Development (R&D) Division has an experienced team of professionals and
skilled specialists who work round-the-clock to develop state-of-the-art home
appliances, kitchen appliances and other electric appliances. Moreover, the
company is aggressively expanding its dealers/distributors network to continue
offering excellent after sales services to its valued customers. Apart from
India, Baltra has expanded its market presence in Nepal, Bhutan as well as in
the entire SAARC region. Baltra has
